The global climate change has a huge impact on us, including here in Malaysia. Evidence shows that the earth is warming at an unprecedented rate, where human activity is the primary cause. This current warming is happening at a rate not seen in the past 10,000 years (Nasa, 2022).
The evidence is compelling – the ocean is getting warmer, the north and south poles ice are shrinking, sea level is rising, ocean acidification is increasing, biodiversity is collapsing, the corals are dying, and unexpected natural disasters – all these events happened within our lifespan.
what is happening to our earth?
What is more worrying is how climate change affects our behavior and mental health.
We are now live in a geologic time era called anthropocene epoch, used to describe the most recent period in Earth’s history where human activity started to have a significant impact on the planet’s climate and ecosystems.
This has never happened in the history of our planet.
As of 2024, 50% of the world's coral reefs are gradually dying

We dump a massive 2.12 billion tons of waste every year
why we should take care of our earth:
