Mount Nungkok is also known as "Anak Kinabalu" or the child of Mount Kinabalu. The trailhead is located in the village of Tambatuon. Along the trail, hikers can enjoy the scenic beauty of the area, including the sight of Rafflesia flowers.
At the summit of Mount Nungkok, hikers can enjoy a panoramic view of Mount Kinabalu. The view is particularly breathtaking at sunrise or sunset when the colors of the sky enhance the beauty of the landscape.
We had the opportunity to climb the mount Nungkok. Even though we didn't reach to the summit, it was an unforgettable experience!
